BAEL/WOODAPPLE

Diarrhoea & Dysentery: Jam of bael fruit is effective against all types of dysentery or boil 200 gm of bael fruit in 4 litres of water till it reduces to 1 litre. Strain the solution and add 100 gm of sugar candy to it. It give 10-20 ml of this solution with 500mg of roasted asafoetida. Repeat it 2-3 times.

Urticaria: Take 1-2 teaspoons of bael juice or as per requirement. Mix it with coconut oil or rose water and apply on the affected area. Leave it for 3-4 hours for relief.

Insect bites: The paste of the root of bael tree is applied on the insect bites. It gives immediate relief.

Hemorrhoids: Mix equal amounts of bael powder and sugar candy. Give 4-5 gm of this mixture with water once a day or prepare a decoction of roots of bael tree and let the patient do sitz bath in this warm decoction. It gives immediate relief in the pain and inflammation in the piles.

Headache: Grind the dried root and make a paste with water. Apply it on the forehead or dip a piece of cloth in the juice of its leaves and put the cloth on the forehead. You may even grind the leaves and apply its paste on the forehead. Helps to cure the headache.
