WAKING UP
According to the Shastra, a person should get up from bed at Brahma Muhurta (ideally 45 minutes before sunrise) around 5 am– 6 am.
Waking up at Brahma muhurta is recommended for a person whose dinner from the previous night is fully digested, else it is contraindicated. The most practical and easiest way to ensure this is by having an early dinner. When you wake up, sit in silence with your spine straight. Take deep breaths or do pranayama for 5-10 minutes followed by a prayer and set the intention for the day.
