Digestion: Take ½ teaspoon of roasted fennel and ½ teaspoon of roasted cumin seeds. Take it with warm water after lunch and dinner. It helps to improve digestion.

Dry mouth and bad breath: Chew ½-1 teaspoon of fennel seeds 3-4 times a day OR mix equal quantity of fennel seeds and fenugreek seeds and dry roast them in a pan. Grind them and add a little salt. Eat ¼ – ½ teaspoon of this mixture after each meal.

Pitta concerns: Take 1/3 teaspoon each of cumin, coriander, and fennel seeds. Boil in a cup of water for 4-5 minutes. Let it stand for some time and drink while its warm. It helps to calm Pitta related issues especially associated with urinary and digestive system.

Colic and flatulence in children: Boil 1 teaspoon of fennel seeds in a glass of water for 4-5 minutes. Give 5 ml of this water 2-3 times a day to small children to relieve colic and flatulence in them.

Diarrhoea/Dysentery: Take 3-5 gm of fennel seeds with butter milk 3-4 times in a day.

Heat stroke: To prevent and cure heat stroke, keep 2-3 tablespoon of fennel seeds soaked in water overnight. Next morning, strain the solution. Mix a pinch of black salt & little sugar in it and drink this solution.
